Something I’ve always loved about homes is the way they can evolve and change with us. They go through colorful stages and neutral stages, toy covered stages and toy purging stages. They support us as we grow, as we begin new jobs and create home offices, as we convert spare bedrooms to nurseries and nurseries to big kid rooms, and as we save up to splurge on the luxury master bath that we’ve always dreamed of.

The purpose of your home is to support you and your family. Your home is the set where the plot line of your life unfolds. It can help or hinder the development of your story. The richest designs do not come from having full creative freedom, they come from solving problems and working through challenges to design the spaces that set the stage for the story of your life.
